Hi! I am absolutely excited to have come upon this website—I have been doing family genealogy and both my grandmother and great-aunt worked for Ohio Knitting Mills for years; my grandmother worked in the factory for years then did some bookkeeping in the office until her retirement, I believe in 1974.
There is a picture on the Ohio Knitting Mills website from 1933, a Christmas party and I am sure that they are both in the picture.
I actually own several vintage sweaters that I have had for years from Ohio Knitting Mills and they are in perfect condition and wear them occasionally. They belonged to my grandmother and I “inherited” them after she died in 1984.
